"Damn." Tom let out a whistle at the magnificent room. "Jeez, this guy really is rich. I bet this looks better than the president's dining hall." He smiled as Autumn came up. "And you don't took bad yourself, Autumn." He winked flirtatiously and let her lead the two of them to a table. He realized how hungry he was, after not eating last night, and eyed the food Jaz had handed to him. "I bet." He answered her, and picked up his fork and began to vacuum it in. Through a mouthful, he pointed his fork towards the curtain. "What's with the stage and fancy curtain? What, does Master V sing now?" He asked through a stuffed face.

Autumn beamed as if pleased that Tom had mentioned it. After swallowing the food in her mouth, she replied, "Well, V does sing sometimes, but he's usually the one to play instruments, like the piano. But the most significant reason we have it is for the production of the plays that Chironine puts on every six months. We do all types of shows from Shakespeare to popular musicals to famous playwrights. Anyone can be a part of it, as long as you are qualified for a position and assent with the director's and producer's orders." A Turkish man that Autumn introduced as Zehir guffawed and cried, "Please, Autumn, you mustn't forget the main attraction for why that stage is there!" Autumn made a meek smile with her fingers against her jaw in a shy pose. Making a loud sigh, she said, "Once a month, I put on a show in which I sing and act during supper." Jasmine emitted a muffled cry and, quickly downing her potatoes, she gasped, "She is amazing! I loved those shows."

Tom's face brightened at the thought of all the action that might take place tonight. "Wow... I didn't know Chironine even had fun in it..." He said, and then perked up as he heard about Autumn's place in the production. His eyes went wide with excitement and curiousity. "Ooo... this is gonna be good. You are going to be singing tonight, right?" He smiled over at Jasmine. "I bet they're awesome. I hope I didn't miss this month's."

Autumn blew a stray strand of hair that fell out of place and said, "Close. It's tomorrow. The performance is always held on the last Wednesday of the month, but..." She gave a brief shrug. "It's obvious I wouldn't be able to do it on that day. So we moved it to the day before." After supper, the members are required to place their dishes and utinsels upon one of the carts that come around to each table. Jasmine stretched her limbs as she rose from her seat. She finished off the last of her water and looked at Tom. "I'm tired," she murmured. Extending her arms behind her, she added, "We should like go chill out in the lobby or something." Jasmine leaned her head upon Tom's shoulder and muttered, "I don't really know why, but I seem to always get drowsy after a big meal."

Tom never felt better. He thought Chironine's food was absolutly amazing. He bent backwards, stretching his back out. He saw Jaz stand up and then smiled up at her. "Sure thing." He rose from his table, and looked to Autumn. "Can't wait for the performance. I'll be sure to be the first one there. In front." He smiled and then jogged up to Jazmine, hooking her arm into his. "Lobby, eh? Sounds awesome. I wonder what other places are in Chironine. I still have to explore the rest." He suddenly heard a nice jazzy tune, and his wolf ears sharpened the sounds. "Hey... Snob Hill... it's Frank Sinatra. Mom loves this guy." He took Jaz's arms suddenly and waltzed her into the lobby area, which was where the music was coming from a small radio. The fire crackled behind them as he twirled Jaz around and then palmed her hands, twisting his torso side to side, and feeling like a million bucks. "Two or three cars, parked under the stars, a windin' stream. Moon shining down on some little town..." He twirled her around quickly then dipped her. "And WHAT did I do? I thought about yoooou...." He smiled down at her and continued to sway.

As she threw her lab coat over her shoulder, Autumn winked at Tom and said with an enticing tone, "I'll be countin' on that right there, sir." Jasmine gave Tom a smirk when he hooked arms with her and, despite her independence rebuking this gesture of his, she went along with it. Making a small snort, she shook her head and said, "Ah, you'll have to find someone else to lead you because it's way too large for my dogs to cover within one week. But there are maps upon the wall in every other hallway so I suppose you could do it on your own, unless you force me too." Her expression made a glimpse of a grimace. Jasmine made a sarcastic yelp as Tom took ahold of her, leading her out into the center of the lobby to dance. She recognized Sinatra's unmistable voice but not the song; the 50's music weren't in her vocabulary. As they waved their bodies in unison to the music, Jasmine stared at Tom with a pertubed gaze. "I'm not impressed," she said with a sneer, raising her eyebrows at his seductive expression. "All we did is make out for a bit and now you're all over me." She smacked her lips once and whispered, "Silly boy." Despite her words, she continued to dance with him. In reality, Jasmine thought it sweet, however juvenile, for Tom to do this. She'd been in relationships with various men; she knew their charms and tricks, but she knew that Tom was more sincere than not. "If you think that tonight's dinner was magnificent," said Jasmine. "Then you'll have to be more adaptive because every breakfast, lunch, and dinner is like that and even better. It's a bitch to get used to."

Tom laughed heartily but blushed slightly. "Nah, I'm just in a good mood, Jaz. Feels nice, getting away and actually feeling safe." He looked at her as she spoke, watching her lips and expressions. "I'll look forward to it then." He grinned then dipped her at the end of the song. He brought her back up then sighed. "Boy.. I'm tired. Now what?" He asked, grinning more, but sheepishly this time.

Jasmine broke away from Tom and replied, "I'm pretty tired too." Her eyes narrowed. "Which means we should probably go to our separate beds in our separate rooms on our separate floors." She indicated her wrist which had a bright orange curly band with a key attatched to it like Tom's but with the number 207 engraved in it. Letting her arm drop, she took him arm and escorted him toward her room. "I want you to know, Tom," she said with her eyes forward. "No matter how much pressure is put upon you, you need to know that there's nothing you can't handle- because I will kill you if you don't handle." She looked back at him with a smile. The two stopped at the dorm 207 at last. Jasmine unlocked the door and crept inside, making sure that Tom saw as little of her room as possible. She stuck her head out and gave him a peck on the lips before retreating behind her door and quickly locking it back up.

Tom walked with Jazmine, feeling a little guilty for seeming to be so... werewolf like. He was with her every step, never missing a beat. Soon, he met up with the door to her room, and it was time to say goodbyes for now. He smiled at her warmly, and when she kissed him, it was only a second that he lost it. He blinked but in the next milisecond, he broke out into a grin. "Goodnight, Jaz." He whispered as she shut the door. Speaking of 'goodnight', Tom thought, I'm going to bed now. He yawned then stretched his arm in the air and lounged back to his room, locked it, and went to sleep.

"Oooh!" cried Megan, leaping to her feet. She ran over to Kate, holding the DVD box up to her. "Can we watch 'A Little Princess'? Please?" The note that Alan left behind stated that he had a morning appointment with a friend's car and that he'll be working with that and other appointments up until around noon. After reading the note, Kate had noticed that he had whipped up some eggs benedict and sausages for the all of the girls before leaving. Eggs and sausages? Kate had thought. I'm surprised we all slept through that sizzling. After eating, Kate suggested that they watch a movie until Alan returns. Alan didn't have a variety of choices for movies, however most of them were children films, like the one Megan had in Kate's face. Cora clapped her hands, squealing, "Oh, I adore that movie!!" "If you both want to then sure," replied Kate with a casual smile. As they sat upon the carpet watching the film, Cora would often distract Megan by poking or tickling her or making funny sounds. Megan wasn't pleased with her sister's act and shushed or hissed commands at her when she did this. When aggravating Megan grew tedious, Cora began to fondle with Rescue who enjoyed the attention. Kate allowed the movie to captivate her in order to keep her mind from wandering into the unpleasant depths of reality. Roughly three quarters in the movie, five gentle knocks at the door sounded. Kate would've dismissed the nearly inaudible sound if Rescue hadn't barked and scutttled toward the door. Realizing the sound was significant, Kate got up from the couch and followed after the dog. The only possibility of the identity of the knocker Kate bothered to imagine was Sophie, or Chuck, or both to come get the girls. With the door in front of her, Kate didn't exert herself on peeping through the eyehole and simply opened the door. She opened the door to a rather tall and beautiful woman. When the woman laid eyes upon Kate, her gentle expression became stricken with a wide-eyed gaze. Rescue tried to budge Kate out of the way in order to greet to visitor but Kate pushed him back and shut the door behind her. Kate batted her eyes a few times and asked, "Hello, what is it that you want?" The woman's brow furrowed a slight bit and she murmured, "Um... who are you, may I ask?" Growing uneasy, Kate bluntly replied, "I'm... Chelsea." "And what are you doing here?" Kate wanted to stand her ground and ask for the identiy of this woman, but she weighed the possibility of her being an important person who was not to be insulted. Kate raised her shoulders, saying with trembling words, "I-uh... am just someone... like a... temporary roommate to-uh-Alan." She didn't understand how the presence of this woman shook her up so quickly and violently. Her glare made Kate feel as an ant under a magnifying glass. The woman's stare lightened up somewhat at what Kate said before asking, "A roommate, you say?" "Yeah," said Kate, easing herself. "I'm a new friend and I needed a place to stay and Alan offered to shelter me for a while." The woman nodded, keeping her magnifying eyes on Kate's. "Is Alan here?" she asked, barely moving her full lips. Kate shook her head way too long and said, "He's working at his garage." The woman's eyes downcasted. "But he's to be back soon, I think. He said he'd be back by-uh-noon." "Okay," she uttered sadly. Kate shifted her legs twice before asking, "Maybe I could leave a message? What's your-" "No," she interrupted, "I think I'll just wait in the apartment." Raising her arm, she reached for the doorknob between Kate's left arm and her torso. The nearness of the the woman submerged Kate in anxiety and she melted away to the beside, careful not to touch her. 'She was a majestic and ruthless goddess, this I knew The anatomy of this statue was flawless! her skin was enveloped in precious metals gold, silver, iron; her eyes sapphires and diamonds, her lips rubies, her hair jade! But do not touch, for this treasure is tarnished with death and misfortune. O how I longed to lay my abominable and unclean hands upon her breast so I may be purified and also lifeless' It was an ancient poem that Kate had memorized as the woman drew past her into the apartment. Kate walked back in and shut the door. "What's your name?" she asked unconsciously, still reciting the poem in her head. "It's Lisa," the ex-lover of Alan replied, looking back at Kate with a smile.

Tom found himself awake before the breakfest hour closed, so he put on some sweats and hoodie and then ran down the stairs, suddenly feeling very famished. Surprised somewhat by how fast he found the dining hall he trudged through the cafeteria and past others to get to the buffet, and started piling on the goods. Meat.. meat.. and more meat came. Some eggs, toast, cereal. Damn, he was hungry.
Once that was settled, Tom settled down. He looked around and finally looked around at everyone around him. There were quite a few Chironine members in here, but he was now looking for Jaz. He chewed and perked his head up every ten secconds before guzzling down some O.J.
A couple more moments of his subtle silence and Tom began to think of Kate. He was getting impatient with not being able to contact her or find her... and he was starting to believe he wouldn't see her anytime soon. He just prayed she was safe and that she was... happy. He bit his lip. Okay... he was being selfish now. He wanted her back. They had just started getting even more close, and then she just left. Kate was one to walk out on problems, but he thought by now she would know he'd always be there for her. Now fully loosing his appetite, Tom pushed away his plate and bit his lip, and held onto the sides of his skull, feeling a headache coming on.

Tapping her fingers incessantly, Jasmine stared off into an upper corner of the dining room. She had been occasionally scanning the room for any sight of Tom throughout the whole time she had been there. Her Negro friend, Louis, had noticed her behavior and jokingly asked, "Looks like he stood you up again, Jazzy-girl." Jasmine broke away from her idling self and gave him a raised eyebrow. "Shut up," she drawled, but still smirking. "He probably just slept in again." Louis laughed and another friend, Miguel, said, "Seems like a common tendency. Or did he stay up late... gettin' to know my sexy stripper gal?" Jasmine took her half-eaten apple and threw it at Miguel, who was laughing his ass off along with everyone else at the table. "I'm gonna fuckin' kill all of you guys," she snapped, trying to hide her flushing face by looking around the room once again. "I'm gonna get V to slice off all your tongues..." "That is a red flag threat, right there," said Louis, holding up his palm. He then pointing toward the direction of another table and said, "And I think ya boyfriend just woke from his coma." Jasmine flipped her head around and quickly spotted Tom sitting solo. She rose from her seat and said to the guys at the table, "Careful what comes out of your mouth..." After turning around, she walked over to the table Tom was seated at. Grinning like a lunatic, Jasmine raised her arms and then grasped Tom's shoulders and whispered in his ear, "Werewolf gots ya!" She snickered, sitting beside him. She eyes the empty plates and bowl on his platter and said, "Hungry, much?"
Kate was very unsure of what to do with this woman here in Alan's apartment. She knew that Lisa wasn't really welcomed, but it wasn't like she could kick her out. She decided to just wait until Alan returned. Cora and Megan had responded very well to her presence, embracing her like a relative they had not seen in so very long. They had just finished watching A Little Princess and were viewing the Cartoon Network currently. Lisa had been staying very silent toward Kate but smiled and chatted with the girls. Kate eyed her secretly as often as she could. She was sitting on the other side of the couch with her legs crossed in the womanly way. She seldom looked at the television; rather she stared at the ground thinking deeply about things. Kate felt very uncomfortable with her there, knowing what she did to Alan. She wanted to slap her across the face and chastise her for abandoning him. However, what concerned Kate most is the reason for her presence now, at the apartment of the lover she had neglected and left broken. The most dreaded thought was that she might want to patch things up with him. Kate knew that Alan didn't put her at fault for leaving him, so it was a very possible possibility that he might be with her again. As long as I'm here, Kate thought with unyielding determination, that cannot happen. Kate jumped violently when the door to the apartment opened, with a very painful knot forming in her chest. This dreading emotion reminded her a lot of the afternoon the day before when she discovered Alan's secrets. She looked at Lisa, who rose to her feet with a somewhat hopeful expression on her face. With a deep breath, Kate stood up as well, concealing her overwhelming anxiety. Both of the women stood there waiting. It seemed to take forever for Alan to enter the room. "Why are you two standing up?" asked Cora, frowning at Kate and Lisa. "What was that Co...?" asked Alan, walking into the room. His sentence trailed off as soon as his eyes met with Lisa's. There was no disguising this emotion of pure shock. "Nice to see you again, Alan," said Lisa, with a sincere smile. Alan was too startled to say anything. He stepped forward once and that's when Kate slapped her hand onto Alan's wrist and took hold. He looked back at her with a stricken face. Kate couldn't believe what she had just done for it was a completely unconscious move. Lisa glared at the connection between the two. "Alan," she began to say, quickly forming a story, "just to get this out of the way, I think I might have broken your bedroom television..." Alan, being the master of lies himself, quickly recognized it as one and replied, "Oh, okay. I'll take a look at that." Without regarding Lisa once more, he quickly walked into the bedroom. Giving the perturbed Lisa a sheepish smile, Kate followed after him, shutting the door behind her. "Oh my God," raved Alan, pacing across the room, "oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. What do I do? What do I say? Why is she here?" Kate stilled Alan with her hands on his shoulders and said, "Try to calm down. Deep breaths, okay? Now, she came in here about a half an hour ago or so, I think. We've been waiting for you. I don't know what she wants, but I think you should send her away." Alan was still flabbergasted so he didn't quite get what Kate was saying until a few seconds after it came out of her mouth. He furrowed his brows and asked, "But... why would I do that? I mean, it's not every day that your old lover returns to your home. Do you think she might want to get back with me...?" "No!" cried Kate which took aback Alan. "I mean, maybe. I don't know. But it doesn't matter, you shouldn't have anything to do with her." Alan shook his head, unsettled by what Kate was spurting out. "Why not?" he asked, with a confused smile. Kate began to say a bunch of no's, but then he said, "Don't you understand, Kate? This is a second chance. The happiest times of my life were with Lisa, and now they might be able to continue!" "You don't need her to be happy, you idiot!" cried Kate, making an attempt at whispering. Alan began to speak, but she said, "No, listen! I know you loved her a lot and you might still love her now, but the thing is is that she didn't really love you." "What are you say-?" Alan said but was interrupted again by Kate. "She only stayed with you because she thought you were perfect and when she found out that you weren't, she couldn't handle the flaws." "Lisa left because I lied to her for so long," said Alan. It was really pissing Kate off that he kept defending Lisa when he was the one who got hurt by her. "But she didn't leave you," continued Kate. "She cheated on you. She was too cowardly to break up with you herself, like she didn't trust you to understand. And she knew that you were very depressed but didn't even care by how she treated you." Alan stared into Kate's eyes, with nothing to retort. He was getting it. Kate took in a breath and whispered, "She abandoned you when you were in your darkest hour." He lowered his eyes. "Please, Alan. Have some self-respect. You can do this." Kate knew this was asking a lot of him. He had a great fear of negative criticism, that was evident. However, she believed that he could overpower it. Alan took Kate's hands off of his shoulders and raised them to his lips to kiss them. He looked in her eyes, smiling, and said, "Thank you." Releasing her hands, he turned around and grabbed the doorknob. "Take Megan and Cora to the park. Go down the left sidewalk to the stopsign and take a right and continue two blocks." He looked back at her with a grateful smile. "I know what to do now."

Tom jumped slightly at Jazmine's touch. He had been deep in thought... and depression, and had not noticed her, hence all the others being around. Truthfully, he was still scared of everyone around him. After all, they were 'wolves and to top it off, now there were VAMPIRES. But he knew with V around... he could trust them. Yet, he still didn't know if he could trust V one hundred percent. Tom looked to Jaz and grinned. "Ah, damn, ya got me. Sorry, I didn't see you around. I looked for you before I got my food and..." He frowned when she pointed to his empty plates and bowls. He blushed and laughed nervously. "... oh, yeah. I hadn't eaten for some time. What about you? Did you eat?" He scratched his arm as an itch came onto him, and then shifted in his seat to face her more directly. "Hey Jaz... what have you been doing all this time. You told me somewhat of your story, but I wanna hear more. It's been a long time." He smirked then dared to lay a hand on hers and give it a friendly squeeze.

((Jasmine's name doesn't have a 'z' in it. Only when it is shortened to Jaz does it. Sorry, it was itching at me...)) With half-closed eyes, Jasmine smirked and nodded to his question. "Yeah," she cooed stretching her arms out toward the centre of the table. "My stomach's full of delicious and fattening goodies. Even the cereals are fuckin'... gourmet or whatever." She rolled her hand over a stray straw listening to Tom speak. She pursed her lips in thought of what had happened since the last time that they met up. Jasmine shrugged and said, "Well, it went back to the same ol' boring New York without you. I landed a part in a Spanish play about a month after you left, playing an estranged wife who is the main antagonist of the story. Fun while it lasted, but it didn't pay. Kicked out two rather new roommates, brought one in, kicked him out as well. Um... I got a job at waiting tables at a bar and karaoke joint. Uh... Rico works at his school for janitorial services. Erm... I was nearly mugged when I was walking home from a late shift at the bar but all I had to do was dangle my handgun to send the fucker back to the ghetto. Mmm... I found the best band ever. Muse. They have such sexy music. AsÃ... I found this awesome earring on the floor of the stripper joint I work at." Jasmine lifted her thick hair to reveal an earring that had an eye with a pointing hand with another eye on the back of the hand. "So cool. But yeah, that's pretty much all there is. It's not like my life is that interesting." She made a quirky smile and said, "So wassa hap'nin wichoo? You didn't elaborate much except... with Kate's disappearance." She didn't really want to speak the words, but she needed to finish the sentence. ((*shudders* This is it. The first time I will delve into Alan's perspective. It will probably be the most challenging literary piece I've encountered yet. I'm more scared than excited with this; this I've been planning for months. I apologize for its length. I haven't written it, but I know it will be extensive. *breathes deeply* The second climatic event of Alan's character is now.)) Kate had left with Megan and Cora along with Rescue. Alan had bid them goodbye and cautiously returned to the living room where his former lover was waiting. It was just she and he all alone. Now he was standing on the border between the living room and the dining room with his eyes downcast and his hands behind his back. Very painstakingly did his eyes trail up her beautifully carved marble frame. Once his sight met with her engraved eyes, the stone's lips returned to a sincere smile. The fuck you smiling about? thought Alan with an indifferent expression. The moment her lips twitched open, Alan took his right hand from out behind his back and aimed the gun at her. No sooner did she blink that he flexed his finger five times. TCHAU TCHAU TCHAU TCHAU TCHAU! Lisa recoiled into the wall as five red flowers bloomed on her torso. Her horrified stare focused on Alan as her back slid down the wall. Before her knees landed on the ground, her blue eyes glazed over and she collapsed onto her side, leaving streaks of red against the wall leading to her back; her wings of blood. "I'm really sorry to show up without warning," said Lisa, raising her shoulders posing as an innocent. Her words brought Alan back from his violent fantasy. "I was too afraid to call you, thinking that you would reject." Alan wanted to stay still but his head moved up and down unconsciously. You're not suppose to act like you understand, you bastard, he thought. "But I would just really like to talk about things," continued Lisa, grabbing her left elbow and straying her eyes to the right. "We left everything at such a terrible position." We? thought Alan. "It's been aching at me for so long." Of course it has. "But Alan..." Lisa looked back up at him with a pleading expression and said, "... will you talk with me? I don't want to make you do anything you don't want, but I need you to hear me out." Your actions are contradicting your means, thought Alan. What I don't want is you here. "Let the woman speak, Alan," said Perfect Alan who appeared at the dining room table right under the window. Perfect Alan looked exactly like Alan himself but in a blue dress suit with a perpetual happy smile on his face. "There's no harm in hearing what she has to say. Look at her, she's been suffering for this chance. Let her pour her heart out." "What's in that heart," hissed Kate, appearing across from Perfect Alan, "is selfishness and cruelty. Get that fucking bitch out of this place before she causes more hurt!" Now, Alan wasn't as so delusional that he could actually see and hear these two figments. The dialogue was all Alan's thinking, except Alan put them in the scenes of his life. Perfect Alan was always there to coax him into going with the most selfless and pleasing decision. The other took forms of many different people; sometimes it is people he only saw on the street or closer ones. Alan was unsure of which way to go. He didn't want to speak with Lisa, but he didn't want to send her on her way without hearing what she longs to say. "Okay," choked out Alan, whose throat was quite swollen with anxiety. Lisa nodded and moved toward Alan. His heartbeat had the Doppler effect, in which his heart rate increased as Lisa walked toward him and then decreased when she went passed him. He noticed that she was wearing his favorite skirt. The simple dark cashmere skirt that she had worn to their second date that lowered to about five inches above the knee on the left side and cut off in a diagonal direction to end at the upper calf and went reverse on the back side. I don't like that skirt, thought Alan very bitterly. He didn't want that skirt on her. He wanted that skirt off her. Fuck! screamed Alan in his head realizing the sexual conduct to the thought. He nearly flinched from the mental exclamation. "Could we sit down for this?" asked Lisa from behind him. Turning around to face her, he said, "Sure. Would you like something to drink?" "What the fuck are you doing, Alan?" cried Kate, standing up now. "You are inviting a fucking vampire in the house. She's gonna suck the life out of you and leave you for dead. That's what vampires do!" "Um..." pondered Lisa as she sat down where the apparition Kate was seated before, "if it's not any trouble." "I have brewed coffee." "That would be perfect." As Alan poured them both a cup of coffee, Perfect Alan said, "You're doing well. Polite and passive, that's what she wants." "Fuck what she wants!" lamented Kate. "She was never concerned with your wants, was she?" "Do you still take cream and sugar?" asked Alan. "Of course," she replied with a smile. "Why is she not begging for forgiveness on her knees yet?" asked Kate, pacing around the room frantically. Alan brought over the coffee and set one down beside Lisa and seated himself on the side adjacent to where she was sitting. By her expression, she was pleased that he didn't sit across from her. Alan looked at Lisa's face intently, feeling many warm and familiar feelings rushing into him. Her hair was different; she had bangs that swayed to the left side of her face and her ends were grown out a bit longer. She had the dark grey and silver eyeshadow combination that made her blue eyes so very brilliant and deep. He also noticed that she was wearing a forest green shirt; his favorite color. Lisa picked up beige mug with two hands and took a long sip with her eyes closed. When the cup left her lips, they widened in a warm smile. "Mmmm..." she said, lifting her eyelids to grant Alan the sight of a contented pond. "What nostalgia is in this old mug. It was the only reason I got up in the morning, I remember." Alan's heart fluttered at her pleased words. He knew that Kate's apparition self was screaming, but he was too caught up in the moment. Memories of Lisa flooded his mind... only the good ones, which there were so many of. The moments dancing in his apartment to his romantic music collection late at night eroded the layer of stone over heart. The times pains came with a long period of laughter at Chuck's bar chiseled at the rock concealing his compassion for this woman. The extensive nights of passionate lovemaking were gentle claws that tore open his long lost love. There was no longer any violent thoughts toward Lisa, now. All Alan wanted to do was hold her in his arms again, just for a moment. Indecisiveness held him back, along with Kate's protests. "How have things been with you lately?" asked Lisa. It took a while for Alan to respond in order for him to suppress all of the emotions saturating him. "Okay," he said weakly, but then cleared his throat. "Not much has happened." "I see that you had Megan and Cora with you. They've gotten very big. Where are Sophie and Chuck?" "They are out doing some wedding shopping." "Oh really?" exclaimed Lisa with a smile. "When it is scheduled?" "About month from now." "That's wonderful. I'm so glad that they're settling down. It's about time." Alan nodded and Lisa took another sip of her coffee before saying, "I'm sorry that I have to cut small talk short, but I have to get this out before I burst." I wasn't enjoying the small talk anyway, thought Alan but he said, "That's fine. Go ahead." With a sigh, Lisa took Alan's hands in hers and said, "Alan, I was so wrong to leave you. That was unfair." "Get that whore's skin away from you!" roared Kate, slamming her fist upon the table. Alan's hands were motionless; they didn't tighten over Lisa's fingers or recoil from them. "I'm so sorry that it's taken me this long to realize it, but now I do and I want to atone for it." "Alan," said Perfect Alan. "She knows she made a mistake and now she wants to make it up to you. She deserves a second chance!" "I know I can't undo what's been done," continued Lisa with her eyes set on Alan's, "but I knew that I couldn't live with this pain and emptiness without you." "Listen to this cunt!" guffawed Kate with a big cynical smile. "She's complaining about her own hurt, not any guilt or shame!" "I couldn't bear living with the painful end to the best thing that's ever happened to me." Alan was trembling with emotion at Lisa's oh so generous compliment. "She's just playing you, Alan," protested Kate. Her face was hovering over him. "Just sweetening you up until she lays down the deal." "That's why I am here. I knew I was wrong and I knew if I wanted... everything to continue I was the one who had to approach the other. I guess had to lose you in order to realize that you were the one who filled my heart with such compassion." Kate laughed and shouted, "This bitch is just coming up with reasons to excuse what she did to you!" "But now that I know this fact," continued Lisa, stroking Alan's hand with the tips of her fingers, "I'm coming back and I promise that I will never leave you again." He tried his best to make his expression vacant, but there were glimpses of pain and desire. She sighed and said, "A few weeks ago, the man I've been with these past six months has left me because... I'm pregnant." Alan took in a sharp breath that made his body jolt. Apparition Kate doubled over, screaming with laughter. "That man was no good from the start. I never felt the same connection like I did with you, but I held onto the hope that I could receive the same compassion and support that you gave me. But it was a total waste. Once I told him I was pregnant, he never allowed me near him. I found all my stuff outside his door just a few days later. Changed his lock and everything..." Lisa took a breath and another sip of her coffee. "I moved in with a friend and I've been staying there ever since. After all that hurt, my mind drifted to you and how we left everything. I regretted my decision so much. It's taken a lot of courage to do this, but I knew that you were the only one who truly loved me. And I traded that for some random asshole." Lisa lifted her hand to touch Alan's cheek with no smile on her face. It was pained. "I love you, Alan." He imagined him sweeping his arm over the table against the coffee mugs and throwing her onto the it. She was gashing his chest with her fingernails in order to tear off his shirt. "Stop this now!" thundered Kate as if she knew that Alan was getting sexually stimulated by the fantasy. "Don't just sit there and let her talk you into all of this! Speak up! Ask her the questions you've been dying to have her answer, goddammit!" Sighing, Alan took Lisa's hand and set it back on the table. She blinked at his action but he said, "Thank you very much, Lisa, for coming here today. I appreciate your courage, but there are some questions you need to answer." "Of course," replied Lisa, nodding her head. "I would be surprised if you didn't have any questions. I'm happy to answer." "You know that last part is a lie," said Kate. Perfect Alan retorted this thought with, "Such a wonderful woman will have perfectly reasonable answers." Alan took in a few silent deep breaths and said in a serene tone, "Did you not want to be with me because I revealed my real story to you?" Frowning, Lisa thought for a moment and replied, "I was just overwhelmed at all the lies that you've been... saying. I felt I couldn't trust you and... I was caught off guard and just so betrayed, you know?" "This fucking slut is just trying to depend on someone because she's all alone!" yelled Kate. "She's just a user, Alan. Don't trust her. Ask her the question. Now." Alan nodded and said, "I understand that, but what I don't get is... I don't really understand... I mean, why didn't just leave me after I revealed the lies to you? I don't understand why you would, just go off with some other man instead of ending it when you wanted to." Lisa blinked at that question, as if she wasn't prepared for it. "We got the bitch now," hissed Kate with a grin. "It was your faults that drove her into the arms of another man," said Perfect Alan. "You cannot blame her for falling for another." "I was at a really weak state, Alan," sighed Lisa, looking down at her coffee cup. "I was at a bar after you told me and that guy approached me. I was already pretty toasted and he took advantage of me. I regretted it very much the next morning, but at that point I thought he was a good guy." Alan furrowed his eyebrows, confusion and animosity rising in him. "But the night of my confession," said Alan, suspicion laced in his voice, "was nearly a month before I found out that you were cheating on me. Why didn't you tell me during that time?" Lisa had signs of anxiety in her perturbed expression. "Alan," she said in and somewhat desperate tone, "I was hurt and confused! I wasn't sure whether I should forgive you or whether you were going to... I don't know, hurt me!" "Hurt you?" Alan and Kate said at the same time. Lisa shook her head and cried, "No, no, no! Listen, Alan, please." Alan's temperature was rising quickly. These accusations she was making was angering him more than hurting him. "Listen, Alan!" cried Perfect Alan, noticing the rage building inside him but still maintaining that smile. That fake smile, thought Alan indignantly. "You must get a hold of yourself!" "I was all vulnerable and here comes this guy who supported me..." He left you and you are defending him? thought Alan, shaking his head. His eyes physically widened. Oh my God. "The same thing you've been doing toward her," muttered Kate. "Lisa, why are you defending your choices?" said Alan glaring at his former lover. "I thought you came here to apologize for your wrongdoings?" "You lied to me, Alan!" she shrilled throwing up her hands. "About your life, about your friends, about your emotions!" I can't do this, he thought, closing his eyes. "I should have known you were too good to be true, anyway. No arguing and no embarrassment? It's just not like that..." I have to get out of here. I can't handle this... "I was the one who was wronged in that situation! I mean, can you really not understand why I would do what I did?" That's it. Abruptly rising to his feet, Alan grabbed the edge of the table and hurled it over into the wall. Emitting a scream, Lisa backed into the wall behind her. With a pointed finger, Alan thundered, "DON'T YOU DARE! Don't you fucking dare act like the victim here!" Lowering his hand, he shook his head in disbelief, muttering, "You're the liar here. You're not sorry for what you've done." "As if you are!" retorted Lisa, stepping away from the wall and assuming she is no longer in any danger. Rearing his head back, Alan guffawed and choked out laughter. "I've been battering myself for it every fucking day!" he cried, slamming his hand onto the other. "You betrayed me... and I had to find that out on my own. But in my situation, I told you. I was so guilty for lying to you day after day, and so I decided to confess everything. I didn't want to lie anymore. Not to the one I loved. Not to the one..." Taking a vase from the TV stand off, Alan emptied the content into his hand and held it up to Lisa's sight. "... I wanted to marry!" After Alan threw the wedding ring upon the ground there came a very long and irritating silence. Lisa just kept staring at the ring with no expression other than shock upon her pretty little face. "You can do it, Alan," said Kate in the same tone as the real Kate spoke before. Her words gave him the strength to break the silence. "But I'm glad," said Alan staring at the simple wedding band with diamonds embedded in it all around it. "I'm actually glad that you did what you did. I recognize it now as a blessing in disguise." Alan's lips widened into a wry smile. "I wouldn't want the one I would marry to be someone who would abandon her lover..." His eyes met Lisa's aghast ones as he enunciated the words, "because he wasn't perfect." Alan let himself breath and his smile dissipated. He was amazed with himself; he'd not done anything like this since he was only a bratty teenager. Had he overcome his fear of criticism? He was dubious of that possibility, but what mattered is that he overcame his fear of Lisa's criticism. It was a single person, but it was a person who had had so much influence on him prior to this. It was amazing. Alan went on to say, "Lisa, tell me why I should forgive you when you didn't forgive me? Why should I take you in when you didn't me? You only came back because you were alone. You had no one to depend on and no one to take care of you. You thought I would forgive you instantly and lavish you with love." Alan shook his head. "Fortunately, I was able to find some dignity while you were absent." Lisa's shocked face returned to perturbed and she shook her head, a little smirk appearing. "It's that redheaded bitch, isn't it?" she cooed sardonically. "Dignity? What fucking bullshit! Please, Alan, you have to get ahold of that lie-spewing tongue of yours. You only found another mouth to stick your meat into. Yeah, I'm sure that will give you a boost of self-esteem!" Alan's eyes dulled at her conclusion for a moment, but then returned her smirk with a grin. "I've been fucking that redhead every night for the past month," he said coolly, going along with Lisa. "What's really convenient is her fetish with others choking her, 'cause who do ya think I'm imagining when it comes that point?" He swiveled his finger in a playful point at Lisa. Gawking at him in disbelief, Lisa gave Alan a loud and painful crack across the face before storming out of the apartment, shrilling, "Go fuck yourself Alan! I thought you were the same, supporting guy I loved before, but now you're just like every other guy! Pathetic mother fucker!" With a deep sigh, Alan closed the door with a his index finger. Over, he thought with relief. Over and done with. But he also had regret... that he had not followed through with his first fantasy. He turned around and leaned his back against the door. Now that the problem was gone, he released his suppressed trembling. He had stood up for himself but it wasn't easy at all, especially for his case. Alan put his quivering hands up to his face and cried. It wasn't long before the weeping turned into hysterical laughing.

((Jeez. I actually flipped a dick when he had that fantasy. DOWN WITH THE BITCH. And um...nice job on Kate. XD well, kinda Kate. Oh and I just like spelling it Jazmine. It's more sexy. But ok...priss...))
Tom listened intently, not once looking away from her. He raised an eyebrow at the play part, smirked at her waitress job along with Rico's. He freaked at the mug part, both from concern and shock due to Jaz's gun trick. But he relaxed, and grew smug. When she got to the band, he reflexed that he had always wanted to be part of a band. He was pretty good at the electric guitar, and he and his buds had just started ideas before he went on the camping trip...the last camping trip he had had with his family. He softly smiled but he looked at tye earring and got out of his trance. He grinned, a twinkle in his eye, for once, and chuckled. "Neat, Jaz." He listened further, but didn't hear. Not until after Jaz was done with the questions. "Wait, what? A stripper joint?" He stood up abruptly and blushed, unable to not think of Jaz that way. He calmed down and sat down. He laughed it off. "Nevermind. As long as your safe." He waved it off then grinded his teeth together. "Well, school sucks. Like normal. In a way I'm glad I'm out of it. But... I do miss my friends. And K--" he stopped. "Well, there's something going down on Wednesday... an ambush of some sort by the 'wolves. Obviously they aren't very secretive if Chironine knows. Then again... I don't think anything could get past V." He smirked.
